MICHAEL LEE SMITH

Michael Lee Smith,63 of Donora, Pa, went to be with the Lord on Monday September 17, 2018 after an extended stay at Montifore Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Born on August 9, 1955 in Brownsville, PA, he was the son of the late SeeBee Smith and Helen Barbour and Step Parents, Daniel Carpenter and Carl Barbour.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers Little Danny and Greg Carpenter and sister Taquoia Carpenter.

Michael was formerly employed with several major corporations in the field of Computer Science and Technology.

 He was an ordained Deacon under Pastor Lance B. Witlock of Mt. Oliver Baptist church in Canonsburg PA and served as a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Washington, PA.

 He is survived by wife, Trisha Largo Ayop-Smith, 1 son Michael Blainfield, 3 daughters, Terri Barbour, Michele Blainfield-Edwards, and Precious Sonya Stacy Smith, 8 grandchildren, Michael, Marcus, Franchesqua, Layla, Cienna, Alauna, Trey, and Jaden, 5 brothers, Danny Jr., Darryl, Tony, Dennis, and Brent, and 6 sisters, Michelle, Sabina, Darlene, Tina, Deanna and Toshia and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 22, 2018,  2:00 pm. At Holy Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. 503 Sixth Street, Monongahela, Pa.  15063. with Bishop J. R. Bass, officiating.
