KEIAUNA LYNETTE DAVIS

Keiauna Lynnette Davis, 27, of Wilkinsburg, PA was taken from this life on February 22, 2018. She was born on February 9, 1991 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Keith L. Davis and Sheila M. Detwiler, who survives and resides in Charlotte, NC.
Keiauna attended High School in both Belle Vernon and in Monessen. As a single mother working to make a secure life for herself and her two daughters, she was employed at Wendy's in Edgewood, PA, and Dollar General in Wilkinsburg, PA.
Keiauna was very friendly and free spirited, and the life of any party she attended. On your worst days, she would bring a smile and laughter to warm your heart. She loved dancing and singing and was very talented at both. She was, for a brief time, part of a dance praise team at Union Baptist Church. Her passing has left scars on the hearts of many that won't soon heal.
In addition to her two daughters, Azalah 6,  Alivia, 3, and her mother, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Linda Wilson of Pricedale, PA; two brothers, Jevaughn (Shanny) Carlock of Norfolk, VA and Keith Davis Jr. of Monessen, PA; four sisters, Kiriana Newby of Charleroi, PA, Mikayla and Kyla Davis, and Sarafina (Timothy) Pace all of Monessen, PA. And a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James B. Detwiler, and her paternal grandparents, James and Annette Davis.
As all our youth do, Keiauna had a very special "crew" that she ran with her whole life, her very best friend, Jenny Meggett, her sister-cousins from diapers to divas, Sequoya Detwiler and India Michaux, and her surrogate big brothers, Nathaniel and Quintin Jones, Randy West, and Larnell and Taryle (Fergie) Ferguson. To say these cousins were close, would be an understatement.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Mt.Calvary Baptist Church, 230 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062, from 2-4 and 6-8, and on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 10-11, at which time the home going service will begin with Reverend Verton Dean , Sr.,.  Officiating.
