CLINTON J BRIGGS

July 23, 1931 ~ October 23, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Clinton James Briggs was born July 23, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Howard and Florence Briggs.  He departed this life on October, 23, 2017.

He received his education in the public schools of Baltimore County and Baltimore City.  Clinton served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on June 30, 1960.  After serving his country he moved to New York City, where he met and married the love of his life, Toni Renee Jones in 1971. They had one son, Quentin.

Clinton was an outgoing person who loved to have a good time.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He would also pass time by playing cards and watching football and baseball with family and friends.  He was loved by everyone who met him.  He had a habit of calling women either “lovely or precious” to make them feel good about themselves and smile.

Clinton was preceded in death by his brother, Howard T. Briggs Jr., his son, Clinton Morris and his wife, Toni.  He leaves to cherish his memories: his son, Quentin Briggs, Sr., (wife Nichole); daughters, Denise Whiting and Aleita Jones; Sisters, Leila Lowe, Mary Roberta Paige and Clementine Lewis; grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Clinton will be forever remembered and loved by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
